R.I.P. Jeff Healey

Today I learned that an old friend of mine has died. I first met Jeff Healey in Toronto in 1984 at the national finals of the Canadian Stage Band Festival, where we both became members of that year's Senior All-Star Stage Band. I then bumped into him again at Humber that following September. He was only there for about six weeks, and while we lost touch after that, I've never forgotten him. He was an absolute joy to work with and I'll miss him terribly.
